Telephone Counseling

If you live too far away to see me conveniently in San Rafael, California, I may be able to assist you via telephone.  I am experienced in telephone counseling and have served as a crisis line volunteer. Together, we can assess whether phone sessions are likely to be useful for your situation.

    My name is Joanna. I was born in Poland. I read you book and it’s been transforming for me. I live in Florida. I am 52. I have been diagnosed with bipolar back in 1999 when I was 26. My mother has struggled with bipolar her whole life. Her mother was taken by force by the Germans from Warsaw when she was a young woman to work in a labor camp during WWII and it turns out recently so was my grandfather and that’s where they probably met. My parents divorced when I was 10. I moved to France with my mother and I was separated from my father and was not allowed any contact with him for 6 years. Then he found me one day and I moved to join him in the USA. I need to tell my story. Like you both me and my mother have valued creating a family as a means to preserve our sanity. As result I have two daughters from my first marriage. I am starting to take Lithium again. I want to speak to you.
